Power Requirements
The Perma-X operates on standard 120V power with a 1 HP motor. It can also be operated with a 2,000-watt generator, provided the generator has adequate starting capacity and no other major loads are connected. Always use a properly grounded, GFCI-protected power source and follow all electrical and generator safety instructions.

The Perma-X uses a powerful 1 HP motor to create strong water circulation that helps prevent ice formation and reopen frozen water. With sufficient run time, proper positioning, and suitable conditions, it can create an open-water area of approximately 30 yards by 30 yards.
